Welcome to the Rising Styles website.
Previously known as the Brighton Hip Hop Festival, Rising Styles is the UK's largest celebration of international hip hop culture.
Based in Brighton on the south coast of England, the festival is now in it's 5th year and aims to deliver a packed programme of events showcasing the wide ranging talents of hip hop artists from all over the globe.

////// Breakdance Pioneer ‘Frosty Freeze’ Dies in NYC \\\\\\
April 9, 2008 – 1:50 pmWayne “Frosty Freeze” Frost, a pioneering b-boy of the legendary Rock Steady Crew has died. He passed away on April 3rd aged 44 following a long illness.
Known for his legendary performances in the movies Style Wars, Wildstyle and Flashdance, his daring moves helped set off a worldwide breakdancing craze. He was also the first b-boy to appear on a magazine cover.
A memorial for Frosty is expected to take place on April 11. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.
